TCH Repairs are looking for residents who are aged 14 or over and would be interested in work experience placements. These placements are unpaid, can last up to 12 weeks, and are a great opportunity to gain some first-hand experience of repairs and maintenance trade skills.
If you’re on Job Seekers Allowance or Universal Credit, you’ll still be eligible for your benefits as long as you continue to look for work. You may also be able to get help from Jobcentre Plus for costs related to work experience, for example for travel or childcare.
What placements are available?
This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of a trade, such as plumbing, electrical, joinery, and more. Office based admin placements are also available.
