To keep our estates looking well maintained, we make sure grass and hedges are cut at the right time of year.

Our schedule for the year is as follows:

March 2024 – October 2024

• Grass cutting – Our cut and drop service means that we cut the grass and leave the cuttings to mulch in. If cuttings fall onto paths or anywhere other than a grass area, they will be cleared back onto the grass.
• Weed control on all hard surfaces, such as paths and car parks, that we’re responsible for. Please note most pavements and roads are owned by local or county councils and they’ll be responsible for their upkeep.
• Overhanging brambles from hedges.
• Hedges will receive their first cut in June and July, so that nesting birds aren’t disturbed. It’s a legal requirement that we don’t cut hedges while birds are nesting.

November 2024 – February 2025

• Leaf clearance on hard surfaces.
• Weed control on all hard surfaces, such as paths and car parks, that we’re responsible for.
• Hedges that we’re responsible for will be cut for the second time in the year.
