To keep our estates looking well-maintained, we ensure that grass and hedges are cut at the right time of year. Our schedule for the upcoming year is as follows:
March 2025 – October 2025
- Grass cutting – We provide a cut and drop service, meaning the grass is cut and the clippings are left to mulch naturally. If any cuttings fall onto paths or non-grass areas, they will be cleared back onto the grass.
- Weed control – We treat all hard surfaces, such as paths and car parks, that we’re responsible for. Please note that most pavements and roads are managed by local or county councils, who are responsible for their upkeep.
- Overhanging brambles – We will trim back any overhanging brambles from hedges.
- Hedge cutting – The first hedge cut will take place in June and July to ensure nesting birds are not disturbed. This is a legal requirement, and we take great care to protect wildlife while keeping our shared spaces tidy.
November 2025 – February 2026
- Leaf clearance – We will clear fallen leaves from hard surfaces to keep paths and walkways safe.
- Weed control – Continued treatment of hard surfaces, such as paths and car parks, that fall under our responsibility.
- Hedge cutting – The second hedge cut of the year will take place during this period.
Keeping our estates tidy is a team effort! If you notice an issue or have any concerns about hedge or grass cutting in your area, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Let’s keep our green spaces looking their best together!
