From 80 applicants to three new leaders: Thank you for getting involved!

Following a fantastic response to our recruitment campaign in March 2025, we’re excited to welcome three new resident members into our governance structure.

We were originally looking for one Resident Board Member and one Resident Experience Committee Co-opted Member — but the quality of applications was so high, we decided to appoint two co-opted members instead of one!

So, who’s joined?

  • Roseanne Rukerebuka was appointed on 1 June 2025 as a Resident Member of the TCH Board of Directors. Under the National Housing Federation’s Code of Governance, Roseanne can serve up to two three-year terms.
  • Nyadzai Ruzayi and Seun Opanubi were also appointed on 1 June 2025 as Co-opted Members of the Resident Experience Committee, with the same opportunity to serve two three-year terms.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who applied. We received over 80 applications, and 15 residents were invited to take part in short interviews with three board members and two executive officers. From there, five finalists were interviewed by the Chair and Vice Chair of the Board.

It was a competitive process, and we’re incredibly grateful for the time, energy and enthusiasm shown by all the applicants. Your involvement really does make a difference.
