The Resident Scrutiny Panel recently completed a review of the Neighbourhood Housing Management Service. They presented their findings in person to the TCH Board at the end of October 2025. Nine recommendations were made, these included:
- A review of roles within the Neighbourhood Housing Management Team to consider if some tasks not directly associated with tenancy management may be better allocated to other teams.
- Delivery of an information campaign in the resident newsletter and an update of the TCH website with better information for residents about the Neighbourhood Housing Management Team’s work. The aim is to make it clear which tasks Neighbourhood Housing Managers are responsible for, and which tasks sit with other specialist teams such as Community Safety or Repairs.
You can read the full list of recommendations and the panel’s board report here.
The panel is now reviewing how TCH listens, hears and acts on the resident voice. If you want to find out more about the Resident Scrutiny Panel or if you would like to suggest a service area for future review, please visit our website or email amanda.mankelow@tch.org.uk
