On behalf of everyone at Town & Country Housing, I’d like to wish all our residents a happy Christmas.

Our offices will be closed over the bank holidays, but of course our teams will be on hand throughout if needed, as detailed in today’s newsletter.

As one of our regular newsletter readers you will have seen a wide range of news from TCH over the last 12 months – from the restructuring of our TCH Repairs service and the development of new homes, to the launch of our Warm Homes initiative and Community Noticeboard app, to name but a few.

You will also have read about the different ways that residents have been influencing what we do – from our new Resident Board Member and Co-opted Members of the Resident Experience Committee to the work of our Resident Scrutiny Panel and the various engagement opportunities.

We’re passionate about including residents in our work, and we always aim to improve our services based on your feedback, as our You Said We’re Doing series of articles shows.

We’ll be continuing with all of this work, and more, in 2026 – we’ve been working with residents on the co-creation of our new resident engagement strategy; plans are underway on how we can involve residents in the co-creation of the new repairs strategy and in better influencing day to day service delivery; and we’ve also got some exciting news to come about wider support to local community groups.

Again, on behalf of everyone at Town & Country Housing, I’d like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
