Hedge and grass cutting schedule 2026/27
Related Posts
To help keep our estates looking tidy and well cared for, we plan our grass and hedge maintenance carefully throughout the year.
Here’s what you can expect from March 2026 to February 2027.
March 2026 – October 2026

Grass cutting
We provide a cut and drop service. This means the grass is cut and the clippings are left on the lawn to break down naturally and return nutrients to the soil.
If any cuttings fall onto paths or other hard surfaces, they will be cleared back onto the grass.
Weed control
We treat hard surfaces that we are responsible for, such as estate paths and car parks.
Please note that most pavements and roads are managed by local or county councils, who are responsible for their maintenance.
Overhanging brambles
We will trim back overhanging brambles from hedges to help keep shared areas clear and safe.
Hedge cutting (first cut)
The first hedge cuts of the year will take place across July and August. This timing ensures that nesting birds are not disturbed. It is a legal requirement, and we take protecting wildlife seriously while maintaining our communal spaces.
November 2026 – February 2027

Leaf clearance
We will clear fallen leaves from hard surfaces to help keep paths and walkways safe, particularly during wetter weather.
Weed control
Treatment of hard surfaces such as paths and car parks under our responsibility will continue during this period.
Hedge cutting (second cut)
The second hedge cut of the year will take place during the winter months.
Keeping our estates looking their best is a shared effort, and we really appreciate your support. If you notice an issue with grass or hedge maintenance in your area, please let us know — we’re always happy to help.
