Pest Control: What we can help with
Related Posts

We know that dealing with pests can be worrying, so we’d like to clarify when our pest control service can help and share some simple steps you can take to reduce the risk of pests in your home.
When should you contact us?
Our pest control service is designed to deal with pest problems inside your home.
This includes situations where pests are living in, or gaining access to, your property. For example, if you have rats, mice, insects, birds or squirrels inside your home, loft space or other internal areas, please contact us to report the issue.
In some cases, a pest problem may start outside but be affecting the inside of your home. For example, a wasp nest located on the outside of a building may be allowing wasps to enter your property. If pests are getting into your home, please let us know so we can assess the situation.
What about pests outdoors?
We do not normally deal with pests that are only present outside the home, such as rats in gardens or wildlife in external areas that are not affecting the property itself.
If you’re unsure whether an issue falls within our service, please get in touch (find out how here) and we’ll advise you on the best course of action.
Simple ways to prevent pest problems
There are several steps you can take to make your home less attractive to pests:
- Store food in sealed containers where possible.
- Keep kitchen surfaces clean and remove food waste promptly.
- Avoid leaving pet food out overnight.
- Ensure rubbish is bagged and disposed of correctly.
- Avoid leaving food out in gardens, as this can attract rodents and other pests.
- Keep lofts, cupboards and storage areas tidy and free from unnecessary clutter.
