The service of preventing, reporting and resolving damp and mould in our residents’ homes

Status of recommendations implemented:  Complete

In August 2024 the panel concluded a review of the damp and mould service for Surrey residents and made five recommendations for improvement including:

• To include specific timescales in the new group wide policy at least compliant with ‘Awaab’s Law’ (Social Housing [Regulation] Act 2023)

The service of responding to and learning from expressions of dissatisfaction

Status of recommendations implemented:  Complete

In November 2023 the panel concluded a review of the complaints service for Surrey residents and made five recommendations including:

• To review and improve the complaints aspect of the website, to make it easier to use, be consistent with TCH website and remove errors that are currently present.
• To provide easily accessible analogue alternatives (e.g. telephone contact, paper-based forms) to digital routes for making complaints to avoid a digital division.
