What is the Money Support Service?

Our Money Support Service is available to all our residents; it provides budgeting advice and assistance with welfare benefits.

However big or small your query, our Money Support Team is always there to help.

What the service provides

Our Money Support Service helps residents with money management and welfare benefit advice and can:

• Provide short term (usually up to 1 month) support and advice
• Help you provide a clear summary of your household income and expenditure
• Provide advice for increasing household income
• Provide advice for reducing household expenses
• Help to negotiate affordable repayment arrangements if appropriate
• Make referrals to specialist support/advice providers
• Make referrals to employment/skills training
• Provide information regarding welfare benefit qualification and eligibility
• Guide you through welfare benefit claims/appeals
• Help improve your confidence and knowledge around your finances
• Provide information or make referrals for funding support.
